A botanical plate: a wildflower wreath, drawn like an engraving from an old field guide, with Psalm 139:14 set in the middle. Wonderfully is circled in red and fearfully is underlined. Under the wreath, the plate title reads from across the room: WONDERFULLY MADE.

“I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.”
Psalm 139:14, World English Bible

The context. Psalm 139 is David's prayer about being completely known. God knows when he sits down and when he gets up, and the verse before this one says God formed him in secret before his first breath. Verse 14 is David's answer: thanks. "Wonderfully made" is praise for the Maker, not a compliment to the mirror, which is exactly why it still holds on the days the mirror is unkind.

  • A wildflower wreath around Psalm 139:14 on the front, black ink with one red circle
  • 350 gsm brushed fleece, soft and substantial without the bulk
  • Mock neck that sits close without choking, relaxed body, ribbed cuffs and hem
  • Women's sizing S to L. Between sizes, or want it slouchy? Size up
