BE STRONG, and under it, IN YOURSELF with a line through it. What stays is IN THE LORD. A plain shield carrying the club mark sits above Ephesians 6:10-11, and the armor is underlined twice in red: you are not asked to be tough enough, you are asked to put something on.
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Ephesians 6:10-11, World English Bible
The context. Paul wrote this near the end of Ephesians, from prison, to a church he was never going to see again. His last instruction is not to try harder. It is to be strong in the Lord and to put on what God has already provided. The standing is the point: able to stand, not able to win it alone.
