Read the back.
A footpath winding off into the hills, drawn like an old engraving, under a full-width WALK HUMBLY. The footprints lead down to Micah 6:8, marked by hand: justly circled, mercy underlined, walk humbly circled in red. The question before it is how to buy God's favor. The answer is that he already told you. The back carries verse 8; here it is with the two verses that ask the question.
“How shall I come before Yahweh, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will Yahweh be pleased with thousands of rams? With tens of thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Micah 6:6-8, World English Bible
The context. Micah sets the scene like a courtroom: God has brought a case against his people. The worshiper starts bidding. Calves? Thousands of rams? Rivers of oil? His own firstborn? The prophet stops the auction. God has already shown you what is good, and it isn't for sale. The World English Bible prints God's name, Yahweh, where many Bibles print “the LORD.”
