Read the back.
Hard. Cold. Alone. That is the script a lot of men are handed, and it is struck out at the top of this shirt. Under it, a sheet of standing orders to all men of the kingdom, effective immediately: watch, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. Five orders, one condition: let all that you do be done in love.
Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong! Let all that you do be done in love.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14, World English Bible
The context. Paul closes his first letter to the Corinthians with this. It is a church that had argued over leaders, boasted about gifts and sued each other, so he ends by telling them what strength is for. The commands are the kind a soldier would recognize. The last one decides how every other one is carried out.
